Whilst the room was a little dated, it was very clean, a fan was provided (we stayed during very hot weather), and the beds and pillows were really comfortable. The staff could nit have been more welcoming and friendly, making our stay an enjoyable one. Excellent value for money, and perfect for what we needed. The only thing not mentioned in the description when booking was the fact the self-parking cost us €7.50 for the night.

No AC, Poor Ventilation, and Misleading Bathroom Photos

I am very disappointed with my stay at this hotel.
The biggest issue is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms. During our stay, the outside temperature was around 30°C, making the room extremely hot. The only source of fresh air is a window that opens just 30–40 cm, which is nowhere near enough to cool the room or provide proper ventilation. Sleeping in these conditions was very uncomfortable.
Another major disappointment is the bathroom. The photos advertised by the hotel are misleading. They make it look like there is a separate shower cabin, but in reality the shower is completely open, with no enclosure at all. Every time you take a shower, water floods the entire bathroom floor.
Because there is almost no ventilation in the room and no air conditioning, the bathroom floor takes hours to dry. After every shower, you either have to push the water toward the drain yourself using the floor wiper, or walk into a wet bathroom for several hours afterward. This is very inconvenient and unpleasant.
Overall, the hotel does not provide the level of comfort that was advertised. The lack of air conditioning, poor ventilation, and impractical bathroom design made our stay much less enjoyable. I would not recommend this hotel, especially during the summer months.

Friendly staff, we had a superior room was really nice but the windows only open a little bit and there is no air conditioning or fan otherwise would’ve been perfect

'Budget' friendly but a few problems

This hotel was exactly what I needed as I was exploring the local area and wouldn't be spending any time apart for rest at it.
The service here was really good with staff always happy to help and provide assistance. I wanted to plug a device to watch my own telly in but my cable wouldn't reach, so the friendly member of staff happily found me an extension cable to help.
A few downsides are the window blocking situation. The privacy provided to the outside walkway is minimal so you have to bring the automated blind down which makes the room incredibly dark and the lighting in the room really wasn't good enough to provide much brightness.
The amenities in the room were also limited too and the lack of safe was a little annoying, especially given all the rooms could be accessed directly from the car park without going through reception which could mean this isn;'t the safest of places in the world but (fortunately) I didn't experience any problems on my stay.
At the moment, the parking here is free of charge but from what I gather from speaking with the front desk is this won't be forever and a charge will be coming in shortly once the new parking barriers are in force.
One of the better hotels in the region for value for money. It's not a cheap place to stay but you won't get a cheaper hotel with easy access to the surrounding area and the city centre as cheap as this.

Service was outstanding

Our room at the Campanile Hotel was comfortable. The hotel is an easy walk to many local sites. The rate was a good value. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The service was outstanding! On our first morning, we enjoyed the croissants and doughnuts, along with bacon, eggs, deli meats and cheese, fruit, yogurt and more. The hotel was busy with several large groups and kitchen staff had no time to make doughnuts and croissants the second morning. We asked one of the staff members, Selena, about croissants and pastries and told her how much we liked them. On our third morning, Selena brought two croissants to our table. This was a beautiful gesture and made us feel very welcome. Thank you Selena!!
