Citilink Flights

Citilink is a low-cost Indonesian airline offering shuttle services between Indonesian cities. The airline was established in 2001, and its main hub is at Juanda International Airport in Surabaya. The majority of Citilink’s routes are within Indonesia, but the airline is beginning to offer international flights. Currently, Citilink only offers one international flight: a seasonal charter flight to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. Citilink received its Air Operator’s Certificate in August 2012. Since that date and the end of 2013, Citilink carried more than 8 million passengers.

As of 2017, Garudamiles or points earned from flying with Garuda Indonesia can be redeemed against Citilink flights.

A map of the seating area will be shown during the booking process. Seats are chosen randomly, so it’s not possible to choose your own seat. Almost all of Citilink’s flights are internal. This means that flights are short and, if you don’t like your chosen seat, you won’t be in it for too long. Citilink may ask you to move seats if you’re sitting in an emergency exit seat and deemed unable to help in the event of an accident. An example of someone that might be considered unsuitable would be a baby or an elderly person. A member of Citilink’s airline crew will let you know if they need you to move.
