Continental Airlines Flights

Continental Airlines was the third largest carrier in the United States before merging with UAL, the parent company of United. Although the airlines continued to operate separately, by 2012 they were both fully integrated under the United branding. Continental was a member of the SkyTeam alliance from 2004 until 2009, before swapping over to StarAlliance until the merger. They flew to 140 destinations, mainly in the United States, with their fleet of 348 aircraft.

United has taken on many of Continental's old routes, now flying to more than 370 destinations. Before the two airlines fully consolidated, they made it possible for customers to merge their United and Continental accounts in order to transfer points and miles earned with Continental.

Although Continental Airlines are no more, you can still find cheap flights to the USA with United. They fly from Dublin to New York, and to Washington DC. The airline also flies from Shannon to New York . Both of these airports have US security pre-clearance, making your arrival stateside as relaxing as possible.
