Hotels in Fuerteventura

The white sands and blue seas of Fueteventura are perfect; now you just need to find a hotel to match.

This Spanish island is a sunny playground for all; there are waterparks for the kids (and some grown ups), bars for the stag & hen dos, and stunning national parks for those who just want to get away from it all. The airport is in the capital Puerto des Rosario, which is in a perfect location in the middle of the island. In the south, you have perfect surfing conditions and white sandy beaches in the resort of Morro Jable, and in the north El Cotillo and Corralejo are close by to both waterparks and beaches for family holidays. There are vast stretches of volcanic terrain in between, where you can also find the villages of Antigua, Betancuria and El Cotillo.

Morro Jable

Morro Jable is perfect for family holidays based on the beach. There are plenty of hotels in the main district, and a harbour full of restaurants serving up fresh seafood. If you ever fancy leaving your resort, there are surfs schools all around, award winning beaches like Playa de Cofete and epic treks in Pico de las Zarzas. The beach front resorts with pools, spas, and traditional apartments are perfect for families and couples in need of some R&R.

Corralejo is on the opposite end of the island, but offers a similar beachy vibe to the one found in Morro Jable. However, there are a few more bars in Corralejo, perfect for those on a group holiday. The main strip isn’t just karaoke clubs though, there are all sorts of different restaurants, and in the new town you can find plenty of shops for souvenir hunting too. Although there are good beaches around Corralejo, Parque Natural de Corralejo is well worth exploring if you love the sea. There are apartments appropriate for budget friendly holidays, and hotels for families in need of both a kids club and a bar! The Baku Waterpark is also nearby, well suited to families with youngsters.

Caleta de Fuste (Castillo)

This is another major resort town only 10km south of the airport, and it’s got as many bars as it does beaches. The resort has a golf course, as well as a modern shopping centre, so all your needs are taken care of here. It’s probably more “adult friendly” than the other resorts, with some excellent luxury hotels and budget apartments for younger travellers.
