WestJet Flights

WestJet is a low-cost Canadian airline, and the second largest in the country after Air Canada. With a fleet of 119 aircraft, WestJet currently flies to 92 destinations across the Americas and Europe.

WestJet was founded in 1996, as a low-cost competitor to other Canadian airlines. The founders launched the airline on the principle that paying for less shouldn't get you less. They started out with three aircraft flying to five destinations, mostly within the west of Canada. They were the first airline to offer paper-free boarding cards in 2007. They launched their regional subsidiary, WestJet Encore, in 2012 to serve smaller Canadian communities and in 2014, they launched their first intercontinental flight –choosing Dublin as the destination. Although WestJet isn't a member of any airline alliance, they do have partnerships and codeshare agreements with other airlines including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and KLM. WestJet's frequent flyer programme is WestJet Rewards.

WestJet currently offer seasonal flights from Dublin to St John's (Newfoundland) and from Dublin to Toronto-Pearson.
