Etihad Airways takes its name from the Arabic word for ‘union’. Set up by Royal decree in 2003, Etihad has been one of the fastest growing airlines in history. Showered with awards Etihad; whose headquarters lie in capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, operates more than 1400 flights in a single week. It flies more than 10 million passengers per year to destinations across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas. Etihad is the second largest airline in the UAE after Emirates.
Etihad’s popularity lies in its combination of modern ultra-luxury and Arabian hospitality which it mixes seamlessly to create a unique in-flight experience; one where East meets West and culture and warmth of hospitality meet cutting edge comfort.
Every passenger on this global airline is treated as a distinguished guest, creating loyal customers that fly with Etihad time and time again.
